Nickolas W. Allen is a litigation partner at Douglas, Haun & Heidemann, P.C., where he represents individuals and businesses in complex civil disputes throughout Missouri and beyond. Raised in Thayer, Missouri near his family’s Century Farm, Nick brings a strong work ethic and practical mindset to every case he handles.

Nick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, before obtaining his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville. During law school, he worked as a law clerk at Blair & Stroud Law Firm, where he developed a strong foundation in civil litigation and trial practice.

After graduating from law school in 2016, Nick joined Douglas, Haun & Heidemann as an associate and became a shareholder of the firm in 2022. He is admitted to practice law in Missouri and before the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and he has been admitted pro hac vice in multiple state and federal courts across the country.

Nick lives in Springfield, Missouri with his wife, Mayce. Outside the office, they enjoy spending time outdoors and attending Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals games together.
